Stock mufflers
#12
I just bought a brand new stock take-off for my 2003 Springer. I'm taking the bike back to stock and have been looking for quite some time and one finally came up. Can't hurt to list them...in all likelihood, it will take awhile, and you won't get much but some walking around money. But I'd take that, especially these days. Good luck with it.

The local Harley-Davidson dealer hosts a chili contest every year and gives out trophies made from cast-off mufflers.
Yes, my chili has placed in the top three twice.

I have the stock mufflers and full exhausts for all of the bikes that we currently have in addition to a couple that have long been sold!
I keep 'em "just in case" the wrong people get into power and choose to start enforcing dumb regulations.
I also have a set of V&H Monster Oval slip-ons for pre-Rushmore ('13 models and earlier) that I bought from a friend for my '18 Tri-Glide that won't fit if anyone is interested

I sold the stock pipes from my Street Glide for like $100. There's always someone out there looking to put stock pipes back on for trade in/private party sale, etc..

Every swap meet you go to has a guy trying to sell stock mufflers. I wouldn't expect t get much for them, as people usually throw them away right after they buy their bike. I've had 2 sets given to me so unless someone's doing a restoration on a older bike, you won't get much interest in them.,,

I'm looking for someone that's local and has some slip-ons for sale at a cheap/free price. My stock slip-ons have rusted out just like an old exhaust on a car.

I've given away 2 pair on here.. They have no dollar value but a good deed to a forum buddy is worth its weight in karma..

Well, I'm glad the guy who I bought a used xl1200C kept the stock pipes and gave them to me. Needed them to pass MD inspection. Someone needs them somewhere.

I recently replaced the V&H neighbor haters on my Dyna with a set of stock pipes I bought used. Found them on Facebook Marketplace. The stock pipes we’re practically new—used for a short ride home from a dealer, removed and stored in a box.
