The only problem I have with the new standerd is the insane dealer markup , I fell over when the general manager gave me a firm price

 

They had them marked down at my local dealer werent selling very well. They offered me a sweet deal on one just couldnt get past the looks .

I certainly wasn't impressed when I saw the new Softail Standard in person. I guess I'm not alone, they aren't exactly selling that well around here. Of all the Softails they offer I thought the Deluxe was the only decent one and it is being discontinued.

 

Sounds like you need a new dealer. I'm not paying a dealer markup on any bike, especially an entry level (for the line)

 

Not to worry , I'm quite happy with my twinkie , Just me & my sweet were in the big city take'n in the sites & a change of senery from corn fields & pastures

 

street bob was a dyna. That was my point in that regard. Should have went down with the ship. Not sure wtf they were thinking. It’s like calling a Corvette a Firebird which was discontinued . Two different things.
