Myfavis, without a doubt, the PBS "Going Places: Biking The Black Hills" which featured antique Indians from Seattle,WAand Boring, OR taking the backroads to Sturgis as well asHD bagger contingent slabbing it out of MN. Amazon has a few OOP copies:

As far as the old '60s biker flicks go "The Wild Angels" was prolly the best one around.Doubt most of you would know that one of the moreobscure ones is "Devil's Angels" starring John Cassevetes. Got that one from http://www.cinefear.com/biker.html.
My old lady is gonnabuy the "Wild Hogs" DVD on her way home today. It's been quite a cultural change going from "The Wild Angels" to the "Wild Hogs" over the past 40-years. Heh-heh-heh.

I watched MASK when i was a kid...although my father (nor anybody in my family) never rode he explained how the bikers were used to being discriminated against...they understood what it was like to be shunned and looked at like freaks...so it was great that Rocky's family and friends helped him out, protected him and didn't treat him any different.....his life might have been much harder if he was brought up by do-goody people.
I'd have to say watching many other 'biker' type movies, MASK always gave me the best impression about bikers.

The 'biker' element in the end, was laid out in a ditch filled with 12 gauge pellets. How is this a 'positive' light?
Just one mans opinion, ya understand.

The 'biker' element in that movie was - in my opinion - extremely well done and depicted bikers in a very realistic and positive light. Really good movie.

Well, Its hard for me to take you seriously since you picked Easy Rider as a good movie.....buuut, "Mask" with Cher was always my favorite.

My favorite part of Wild Hogs is at the end when Peter Fonda tells his son to get back on his bike and ride, so he can remember what it is truely all about.

Michael Parks (the actor in "Then Came Bronson") rode a Sportster, not a Triumph. Have you ever actually watched an episode?

Check out "The Wild Angels" starring Peter Fonda, Nancy Sinatra, Bruce Dern, Diane Ladd, Michael Pollard, and actual members of the "Hell's Angels". This movie was made just prior to "Easy Rider" and was a true Biker movie in it's time.
