I have next week off so was going to head out to the "week before" Sturgis rally but now according to my brother who lives out that way it is supposed to rain most of the week. Damn I don't mind riding in the rain however when it's day after day that's no vacation...the kicker is it is supposed to be great around here. Anyone know a good rally close to Wisconsin this time of year...of course not. I guess I've been wet before so maybe I'll just go anyway.

 

Thats the way it always happens for me...vacation time equals= BAD weather.

For the past two months, everytime I have ridden, except for 1 time, I have gotten wet. It is suppose to rain through the weekend.....guess I will be getting wet again!

 

I would gladly wade through a river to be going to Sturgis. Obviously, I have never been. Maybe next year. Always seems to be somethig stopping me. Last year, we took the family on a cruise. The wife said for sure next year (now this year), but NOOO, took the family to Disney. She again assured me, 'next year, for sure'. Wonder what it will be next year. LOL Oh well, both trips were fantastic, and the whole family had a wonderful time, I would just love to be there. This year at the Chip, ZZ top (of course), Toby Keith (love his music), Blue October (becoming one of my favorites) and Daughtry (definately one of my favorite). Aagghh!! Sucks. Have a wonderful time. If it helps, while battling the rain, think of how much I, personally, envy that you are there. I just wish there was some way I could swing it.[:@]
