Default New Models Discontinued

I was reading on Revzilla that some models are being discontinued in the upcoming model year bc of the massive loses...it didn’t really say too much on which bikes are being cutout though...

I’m curious which ones...

Is it a rehash of the article from last year, to get you to read? So much speculation every July, my dealer heard this. Are the 21s still coming out in August?

But sure, if a bike doesn't sell, they may get rid of it.

No, the new bikes will be shown in early 2021....and it will be this way from now on.

As for discontinued models only 3 are confirmed so far: Deluxe, Breakout and FXDR 114

Yes there are several being discontinued this year. The Street Glide, Road Glide, all of the Softail family and most of the Sportster family will be dropped. That's the rumor I'm spreading, err I mean I heard.

it’s funny about the Breakout bc so many people go for that look aftermarket... HD was just helping them along ..Improved front end, engine and brakes,....but apparently to no avail...

Harley screwed the pooch on the FXDR. Touted a performance bike and priced it accordingly. They instead delivered a Challenger V-6 for the Hellcat's price. Harley even dropped the price the 2nd year.

It's too bad, I really wanted a performance Harley cruiser. Had they slapped a 120R in it with better brakes and suspension with mid controls at the original price, it would have done well.

The worst part is...they were trying to still sell the older models at a price above the new ones....at least all my local dealers were...I really liked the bike, but for all the coin it would take to get it the way it should have been from the factory (get rid of the entire tail section, get rid of the intake, get rid of the exhaust) and you are in a price range that gets you a Ducati Diavel that will stomp the living crap out of it...

Surprised about the Deluxe, but not surprised on the Breakout or FXDR. Actually, hope this opens up possibilities for other models......like a new version of the FXRT!!!!

Also hoping for the 114 across the entire line of Touring and Softail lines.

They mentioned that the Bronx may not make it to production. The Pan America seems safe as it mentioned that ADV is a market they see potential for HD in....who knows...like suspected they are seeming like they will continue to cut back on some models.

That's what many people (including me) were hoping the Sport Glide would be. Alas, it turned out to be a rehash of the Switchback.
