While I appreciate the work, I only like bikes that I can ride. Not for me.

Interesting, a lot of thought, money, and hard work went in to that. Obviously it wasn't built as a bike to be ridden.

That style is all the rage in Japan's chopper scene. I like chop's, rode them for years and built a bunch both my own and for others. That's a show bike it isn't rideable in any serious sense.

that is not a motorcycle, it is an over sized Hot Wheels two wheeled toy.

A motorcycle is a vehicle, it can be ridden from point A to point B, usually in distances that can be measured in more then feet or yards

Let me know when the owner can do a 500 mile day on it without breaking down or crashing it .

Does it have a name? Trailer Queen perhaps?

It's a piece of art that is functional in the sense that it does run and can be ridden. It may not be practical. So what.

The flip side of all this is that it takes no talent to buy a garbage barge with a rubber-mounted motor, and pay someone else to do anything more than add chrome doo-dads.

Why not just appreciate the vision and effort of someone instead of slamming them.

Funniest part to me is that most of the custom items that are now common resulted from guys pushing the envelope with designs that weren't necessarily workable, but gave others ideas. Be glad that's how it was. And be glad it still is that way.

I agree...appreciate it for what it is. Most of the "choppers" back in the day weren't built for practicality, but some were ridden quite a lot. I think obnoxious is the word to describe it best. But that was an era WAY before the Twinkie brigade.

He runs that fully exposed motor, the man is amazing with metal and engineering. Of course you are not riding the damn thing anywhere, but if you do ride it around the block, people will be amazed. I was watching the build on IG, again truly amazing work. Motorcycle art, sure, but more then that with all of the engineering. All of his stuff is way over the top, in a good way. Carry on.

You would have to have a pocket full of rollers for those lifters if you went any farther than around the block. A piece of art, but not my cup of tea.
I have friends that have 18 and 22 inch over front ends on their bikes but they are derakes and they handle pretty well still.
