For me, It would be Stugis because of the great riding in that regionand it far from home.

 

I think alot of these people who are commenting on some of these rallies have never been to a "big" rally. Half of what is listed is not even int he top 20 in size of participants....

I am sure you are looking for exposure with amounts of people.

 

Yup, you are right. I've never been to a "big" rally and don't plan on it. Like I said, rallies aren't my thing. Mike asked what rally you'll attend. I answered his question.

Out of those it would probably be Myrtle Beach Fall. But that is just out of those. We went to the PA Rally on the River in June and had a blast. We already have our reservations for next year. We much prefer the smaller rallies like that one, Gettysburg and Delmarva. Not really into the half a million bikes in a week thing.

You're right. I am looking for the bigger rallies. I doubt some people would even know what Little Sturgis is. Nothing wrong with the smaller rallies, I like 'em too.

But I am trying to get a feel for what bigger rallies are more popular.

 

The Lone Star Rally is now the third largest rally in the nation according to some of the biker mag's I've read. I believe they estimated around 250,000 at last years rally.

 

You didn't hose the thread Oldgeezer. I appreciate your input. I too much like the smaller rallies. Hell, the only reason I'm going to Sturgis this year is just so I can say I did. I doubt we'll spend any more than a half day doing the "typical rally stuff".

Of course, the trip for me will also be about business since I will be documenting the ride with my photography.
