Jeff, have your thoughts of pocketing $10k evaporated yet?
Pretty clear from the experienced guys here, you're nowhere near a realistic price.
BUTT....I'm curious though, if you don't mind sharing....are you a big baller collector type with a bunch of bikes and/or cars in the garage?
Reason I ask, you paid $20k 17 years ago for what essentially became a damnfine piece of garage floor jewelry/furniture
(NTTAWWT if that's what trips one's trigger)
Otherwise, why's a guy drop that kind of dough on something that sits?
other bike(s) to ride?
Was it an impulse buy you're financially able to $wing?
not suggesting or implying anything wrong with the above.
Just curious, as the "minds of men" is just interesting to me

Jeff, I'd say keep it. You're NEVER gonna sell it for what "you" think it's worth. Hate to break it to ya, but nobody really wanted them when they first came out. "Anniversary Edition" means NOTHING. Add in the fact that motorcycles just aren't selling right now, plus there are thousands of good deals out there on used bikes. I don't think you'll get more than $4,000 for it. It's gonna need new tires at the very least. V-rods are HD's "red headed stepchild". Sorry, but you bought a bike that not very many people want. If you bought the bike thinking you were gonna make money on it.......well,..........You win some, you lose some. I think you lost on this one.

Bueller?
Bueller?
Bueller?
Where did Jeff go? Dammit I wanna know more about the cars. I think we answered the bike question. If you bought it for an investment your investment period hasn't expired. The market dictates that your ROI is another 12 years minimum.
Now show me more of that Diablo! C'mon man. Don't leave me hanging.
