Got there late (Saturday) due to bike problems last week. Glad I went, though, I think it's a great rally, best in the Midwest.
I hadn't been to the Boogie since 1982, when it was in Beanblossom; it's really grown since then. Met some great people, saw some nice sights .
Think I saw Sean's bike Sunday morning on my way out, but didn't see him or Heather...maybe still asleep??!

One thing that surprised me was the nimber of bikes on trailers. I figure most of the people there are from within a couple-hundred mile radius, so I don't understand why you wouldn't ride.

Anyway, the weather was about perfect, the music was good, and the Hoosier Honey contest was, well, good, too.

Plan on going next year, and thanks to Indiana ABATE for a great event.

 

We got there wednesday night and camped out front of the gates and got in thurs morning. Got drowned pretty good by a thunderstorm thurs afternoon but after that it was a great weekend.

We got there Wednesday night and were there all weekend. We had a BLAST! Camped with Lisaaahhh and her hubby Dave along with all our Boogie friends. I expected some HDF'ers to come say hi. We camp in a pretty visable location right next to the Ice trailers so I expected to see some of you. One guy yelled from the tractor that he knew me and Sean (I assume from HDF) but never came back to say hi.

Gliderider....I'm sure we were still asleep. We were in no hurry to sit in a line of traffic to get out. We didn't leave until that afternoon.

 

That was a hell of a little storm wasn't it? Lisa & Dave arrived with seconds to spare. They didn't even get their stuff off the bike before it hit. But the rest of the weekend was wonderful weather. Hell, it wouldn't be The Boogie without some rain.

Sure wish I took today off. I feel like I haven't slept in a week!

 

Poor HC!!!! I just got up a half hour ago & having coffee... sorry you have to work today! I'm still tired!

What a BLAST we had with you guys!! I'm going to start sorting pics today and figure out how many are "postable" here! I'll get a cd made for you soon... waaaay too many pics to email.

Gotta run some errands for my Mom in abit... I'll have to remember to wear clothes! Haha...

Heather Honey, technically you occasionally had on "clothes" at theBoogie. However, a fishnet dress & leather hat are probably not proper work attire??

Left for Boogie on Friday morning and returned back to Michigan on Sunday. Great ride down and back and the Boogie was a blast. Yes,I yelled to Heather and Sean but did not stop, was on my way to meet up with some people. Figured I would just Go to HDF and let them know who it was!
Looking foreword to next year and plan on staying more than one day, too much fun to spend only one day.
