I don't even have small hands. As a matter of fact I wear either XL or XXL glove depending on origin. The reduced reach levers are just more comfortable. It also solves the problem of the hydraulic clutch friction zone being all the way at the top of the lever action.

I bought two sets of ShowChrome Heated Comfort Grips. One for her bike and one for mine. I only did a test fit on her bike, installed the grips and reinstalled the clutch and brake levers for her to try, no wiring.
I've decided to reinstall her stock grips and buy the HD heated grips because they are slimmer. I'll install her take offs on my bike and sell the unopened set. Win, win.
If any body has a link to the HD heated grip installation instructions I'd appreciate it. I believe you have to snake the wires through the bars.
