Default What make and model is this Harley?

Greetings,

This bike, about as perfect for me (in terms of fit and style) as can get, is just around the corner of the street I live on. It does, however, sit a bit too low to the ground for my comfort.
The problem is I don't know what the make and model is (I'm new to Harleys). Can anyone offer some information on this bike?

Thanks much.

You say it's a perfect fit. I assume the owner was present when you "tried it on for size" never occurred to you ask the year, make, and model? Or the price?

It's a 1200 Sportster, looks like a Low, as in XL1200L

Nope, I haven't sat on it, and no, I haven't spoken to the owner. I guess "fit" was the wrong word; I meant in the sense of body and engine size, height and general build that attracts me.

Sorry for the confusion.

Sharp looking bike. My wife has one, but with Spoked wheels. We would have preferred cast wheels, but we bought it used and that's what it had.

I edited my previous reply with the model info.

Thanks much. I'll get information with the owner when I can connect with him. It really looks clean, that's for sure.

Thanks again.

It appears to have the front fork lowered and slammer rear shocks. Easy enough to replace or trade for stock length parts.

Ben,
Oh, that's good know! Personally, it's just a bit scary having it that low for me. So I'm glad to hear that can be taken care of.

IBE,
Thanks. By make and model, I was wondering if it was an Iron, a Low or something else. As to the year, I'll obtain that when I get a chance to talk with the owner.
