Apologies sir, my bad. Just did not like his slam. And the Twin Cam is actually a nice platform. Had one opportunity to ride one. Friend of mine bought one, but also owns a BMW. He was not initially comfortable taking it on the journey (250 miles) home so he asked if I would ride it for him. '05 Roadking, almost stock (tuner and pipes improved). Really a nice ride, quick smooth and definetly a joy to drive.
Few years back we went to visit her brother back east. Rented a new Heritage Softail (what was available) so we could ride the Dragon. Great time. Bike performed flawlessly. Sat on a new Slim model (first or second year out). It was really, really nice and got me close to thinking about adding some new iron.
Is that SRV in your avatar? You get a free pass no matter what you drive, own, or operate.

No worries. I guess I should apologize. I didn't really follow along and didn't catch the "slam"....
That's why interpreting the texted word I should probably leave to my Grandson.....
He's here, and smarter than me. Any more questions and I'll have him proof read before I comment....

Ah, now we are back to the conversation about the Haberdasher and his influence on the MoCo. Seems to me a lot of really cool bikes came out of Milwaukee under his reign. Just sayin'.

I ride a 1977 flh sport. Also a 77 flh. And a 77 xlt sportster. I like the amf harley bikes. Little tinkering once in a while. I'd rather have carburetor than injection personally. Can't push start it with dead battery either. Lol just preference. Most is how you take care of your stuff usually.
