Default Stretched bags latches issue

I took over someone’s project and I’m currently in the process of modifying a 86 Electra glide. The bike came with 6” stretched bags and lids that where installed but no latches. I got a set of latches 1993-2013 but they don’t seam to fit. They won’t line up with the indent on the bags and sit up high and don’t line up with the 4 screw holes.

Can anyone identify what type of bags these are? Also what type of latches I should be using?

Have you put the finished handles on the hinges yet ? That might help you see the alignment issues better. Did this last week for a buddy and it looked off but with the handles on it was OK. If the handles don't stay latched, check the length of the hinge attachment screws. If the screws stick out too far, it will prevent the hinge mechanism from sitting flush and handle from staying in the "closed\latched" position.
