Default Street Glide "compartment"

Hi, I hope I'm doing this right. So I am able to fit my iphone into the compartment on my street glide, however, cannot connect charging cable to phone and get door to close. Anyone else have experience with this?

This! When I had my accident last year and was lying in the road many feet away from the bike, I was glad the phone was in my pocket where I could reach it to call 911.

Yeah, I know, some of you are probably saying "I'm too good a rider to ever allow that to happen to me." Well, for 38 years and 360,000 miles I was too, until the day I wasn't. Stay safe out there.

If you have not done so already you can remove the foam block from the compartment to get more room, or you can get a smaller phone.

^^^^
This and try a right-angled USB cable for the phone. Of course, it it's one of those phones the size of a small dog, it's not gonna fit no matter what you do.

that media nook is a piece of ****, plus you dn't want to put your phone on your bike, keep it on you in case you get separated from the bike

I plan on using that nook to create a port for a dsp and to hold a dvr for a dual channel camera system

as a phone holder, it's a hard fail

The compartment is perfect for a thumb drive. Play 1000+ songs thru media.

There are several older threads on this. I agree with others that it's best to keep the phone on you.

FWIW - I put my registration & insurance card in there along with my garage door opener.

Along with the smallest of my flask collection.
