FXDR challenge. Biggest day ride.

I'm a Wuss.
Today was my longest ride on the new FXDR (with cheater risers/bars :--)
Thornton to Avalanche Harley in Golden. Met the Ex downtown for some dinner.
Missed 128E off 93 so went north a ways before heading home.
high 60's going out and felt like 50's going back
Looked high and low for some risers/bars that would work with the gauges. Made my own.
Could ride this thing all night and day if I wanted. Really comfortable riding position.
Stock??? Even in my 20's I would have changed it. Ducati 999 was more comfortable with low clip-ons but rear-set pegs!
Thanks for the FXDR write-up!

How much further back would you say your bars are to you from stock location?
J&P Cycles has some varied length black angled risers. I think I'm going to try those and a drag bar.

Ended up with 6 1/2 up and NEEDED 2 3/4" pullback to see the gauges.
There used to be some dragbars/T-bars that swept back starting from about a third of the way up from the bottom.
I always hated them until I saw them with a small Bikini fairing. Then I got it.
My old stock Deuce risers felt pretty good. 5 1/2 up (I think). They still have the 1" clamp zone. Already had the Fat Bob 1 1/2" take-off bars.
If I wouldn't have had the 1 1/2' bars, a set of Harley drag bars ( 1 1/4" w/ 1" clamp zone) would have been pretty good.
Then I would have had to paint the chrome risers black?
Deuce risers; could see the gauge ok. Measured the pullback on these 2 1/2 (I think?)
Carlini 7" T-bars, not OK
Wish I still had my waterjet. Could have whipped up a dozen risers in an hour.

These would be worth trying for less than 40 bucks?
With some Harley Fat Drag bars?
You can also find 10 degree angled bushings. Not sure which ones fit our bikes?
