I'm not against change but in the last couple of weeks server response times and page loads here have been slower than ever, contrary to the touted server/bandwidth improvements.

Well there goes the "Showdown" forum. Changes is good I guess. But if it ain't broke, don't beak it. Glad this helps with the technical issues. Hopefully it won't affect content.

And even though I am sure there are bugs to be worked out, since the changeover I have noticed alot of slow loading pages and not even being able to get on to the forum at times. I have got to the point that before I hit post I copy what I had just typed so I don't lose it.

Does this mean Terry will get a paycheck, and can quit selling Hondas?

And Honda plans no changes to Harley Davidson when/if they take over....we'll see.
Pleaselet that rumor die, it's already been denied by both honda and Harley, and the analysts say it can't happen 'cause of market share and some regulatory bs.

As far as the forum, I've rarely seen good things come from a corporation taking over a mom and pop, but we'll see...

And your point would be what? Denial constitutes viable truth? Does the quote, "I never had sex with that young lady" ring any bells?

I think I want my donations back, is this not why we (some of us) Donated money?[:@]
On the good side maybe they will stop the internet leech's from "spamming" us for profit. No need to name names right Mike?

I think the new owners should develop some venue which would afford existing members the opportunity to put forth things they like about the site, things they don't, things they feel work, and things they feel could benefit from improvement. As with most acquisitions, change typically comes slowly and in stages. Seldom do people acquire a company and/or product only to leave it be in its entirety. In reality, it would be somewhat contradictory to the aquisition itself if nothing changed. I'm confident that a good site will become even better as a result of said acquisition.
