wouldn't be so bad if you didn't have to buy the service as well.

If I'm reading it right you still get $20 a tire without service. I don't think the "Service" was part of the rebate last year.

Yes, it sucks. No mail order, must buy from Pro Dealer and get a service, at least mounting would qualify.


Used to be able to buy tires at amazon, save 5% on the Prime Visa Card, and no taxes or shipping. Then get a rebate of $50.

Anyone know of a tire seller on Amazon not charging sales tax?

Amazon collects the sales tax, not the vendor. You aren't getting around that.

Last year I put new tires on my bike ( AE's ) , took the rims in to have them installed and balanced . Emailed the rebate with the invoices , and never got it , oh well ...

last year, I bought 2 tires, installed them myself, sent in the receipt and coupon and got $50 back. oh, one big difference: they were avons….

many states passed legislation over the years to combat online shopping using loopholes to avoid paying sales tax. You ain’t getting around that

I bought two Dunlops last August, and had the tire dealer mount them. Filed rebate, and never received the dough. Inquired to Dunlop and their response was that "we never received your rebate application".
