Why do you all call crotch rockets SQUIDS?? The only squid I know is the one I eat and the nickname they give us Navy Sailors....

I dunno, I call them crotch rockets myself.Maybe a squid on a crotch rocket would be the rider flailing there arms right before they hit the ground?

It isnt a term reserved for just sport bikes....basicly any new "superhuman" rider that is riding beyond their abilities.

In motorcycle circles, I usually hear the term squid in reference to any inexperienced rider who is riding like a jackass. Not necessarily a crotch rocket, but these guys seem to be the most common culprits.
