Death of the Street Bob?
So with the intro of the new Softail Standard, for $1000 less with standard ABS, does anyone else think they may discontinue the Street Bob? I'm convinced they're gonna sell way less of them now. The bikes are ergonomically and physically the exact same dimensions (seat, bars, pegs), they're the exact same bike! The new Softail Standard has four "pre-packaged" custom options, and buying the Street Bob is the equivalent of a "package" now. Black covers, black rims, and fork gaiters won't justify being its own "model" soon.

The StreetBob died for me in 2018.
There is NO way I would own one of the current abortions the
MoCo is trying to foist off on the biking community as a 'Bobber',
...let alone calling it a Street Bob.
If others like it, fine.
It's just not for me.
I owned 4 of them and one '10 Wide Glide.
BEST single seater/bobber ever produced............

I think that if Harley wants to survive they'd better cut out 50 or 60% of their lineup and start selling bikes that are at least 5 or 6 grand less than what their cheapest big twins cost now. The Harley mystique is fading. If people are going to keep riding Harleys they'd better start being affordable.
