That is the only reason i like my full face helmet

I'm playing try cheap mods on the bike before I decide to change up....been adjusting shocks and such. But if I change up hubby might just throw rocks

We have a lot of chip sealed roads in AZ. Riding in a pack on these roads you get small stones flying up at you all the time. It's really fun when they resurface a road.

The one's I hate is that one that hits you right in the end of the nose! Brings tears to my eyes.[sm=smiley19.gif]

 

I was in the mountains a couple of days ago. In the center ( out of the well traveled wheel tracks ) of the road there's leftover sand/grit/small gravel from when the snow melted.

The SECOND time the idiot in the gray Audi wagon that I was following drifted over there and peppered and sandblasted me I decided he was a jerk instead of just drunk, incompetent, or a Euro-poser driver.

After the passing lane where I got in front of him, I sorta found a straight spot and sorta drifted (in Euro-poser style) into the middle and gave him a grill-full of the crap he gave me.

It was so satisfying, I won't mind washing it off of my pipes.

 

I always worry about the guy in the far lane deciding to move into the same lane I'm moving into. I saw my buddy in front of me have a close call like that a few weeks ago. Oh well, one more thing to watch out for. Glad you're OK. I rarely ride with a helmet but do have a widshield. I took it off a few days ago and went for a ride Friday. Wouldn't you know a big black beetle hit my forehead at 60 mph. Ouch.
