Default U Hate Jap Bikes? What about Euro Bikes?

This post is for people who have a hatred of Jap bikes. Whats your general opinions on Euro Bikes,? ie Ducatis, Triumphs, Nortons, Guzzi's, Arials, BSAs, Nortons. Do they fall into the same category for you as a Honda, or is it a seperate category?

Not so much a matter of hating foreign bikes (or cars... I own Chevy). It's about supporting the U.S. economy for me. And yes I know that a lot of H-D components come from oversees. But buying H-D means that my money goes to an American company.

I don't hate Jap bikes, in fact there are some pretty nice ones out there. I'm willing to guess that the Jap bike sales pumps more money into the U.S. economy and into the pockets of U.S. workers, then do the sales of Harleys.

I don't hate Jap bikes, I just ain't buying one. At least not a new one. I'd still like to get an old CB750 to turn into a bobber with a weld-on hardtail.

I do like some of the euro bikes. Love the Moto Guzzi Griso 1100. Triumphs are cool as well as the older Brit brands like Norton and BSA. BMW makes a beautiful bike but I don't think any of them are a good 'fit' for me. I still like those Russian Urals too but they ain't european.

Aww Ken,
A Harley has more parts in it from China than a Honda does.[sm=imsorry.gif]

Get a kickout of all makes and all classes of bikes, and do get a big kick out of most BMW's, including the one below. One of the finest, fastest (170mph +), refined (ABS, On-the-fly electronic suspension adjustment etc.), best handlingsporting rides around. Recently awarded MCN's rare five stars...

A video ride from where the pic was taken... http://www.farson.com/video/klunch.wmv
