Morning everyone I have a 2018 street glide that I have just finished installing the amp and line leveller.
so I plugged in the BT into the speaker harness going to the head unit obviously.
do I have to cut the stock male connecter from the speakers coming from the 6.5‘s and just wire right to the amp?

 

You have speaker wiring that comes from the amp. You can either cut the plugs and splice, remove the entire speaker harness from the pod and run the speaker wiring right from the amp to the speakers or get some socket pins and spare male plug end from H-D and wire it up to the speaker wiring and plug it into the female end you show in your pic. I personally removed the speaker jumper harnesses and ran the wiring right to the speakers. If I hadn’t done that, I would have bought the male plug ends and socket pins. I don’t like cutting and splicing.

 

i don't either. if i want to, i want to be able to easily go back to oem setup.

the parts are fairly cheap, but finding a stock number can sometimes be a bear. good luck.
