Appreciate the writeup and the induction everyone. And greatly appreciate the writeup Buzz. Had a lot said about me over the years (majority of it unfit to post in polite company) and wish half of it was as nice and as eloquent as you put it. Gotta talk to my estate planner and put you in as my ghost writer for my obituary one day (I kid, I kid)

Gotta say after reading the stories of past honorees here, when I got the PM from Buzz I was shocked and was quite certain a mistake was made. I'm no where near as interesting as all of ya'll, no great stories, deeds or wisdom to pass along. No amazing rides across the country or even much out of state really... But I'm honored and humbled to be added. I'll do my best to keep contributing what I can, where I can, and barring that, I'll do my best to at least get a chuckle outta a bunch of you with some of my humor...

Point me to a pellet grill and give me anywhere from 4-18 hours depending on what's being cooked and I'm your guy. Pellet grill has been the best purchase I made right after my Crossbones

Anytime. Lake George is still one of my favorite places. Bolton Landing especially. Had a few days in the past weeks where it's climbed up past 55 degrees, bike kept drifting north trying to get there again before I had to reign it in.

Chenango is some beautiful area. Had a opportunity last April and May to explore it a bit. And by explore it a bit I mean I was so zoned out that I passed right by my usual spots in Beaverkill and found myself at the Genegantslet Creek.

I was a bit further north in 1980, at Schroon Lake, and remember going down to Lake George to take the other kids from school to the mall or "shopping", since I was one of the few folks there with a vehicle. Didn't see that much of the "lake" personally, but it sure is beautiful country up there! Still remember having a tornado that year, but it only came down the mountain next to school about halfway, then crossed the lake, hanging up in the air, and hit the mountain on the other side also about halfway up, and went over the top of it. Well, I also remember the COLD that year!! That's something I will NEVER forget, with 2 weeks temps didn't rise above -50* F, WITHOUT the "wind chill", and during that time, a couple of days, WITH the "wind chill" got down to -100* F!! I NEVER ever EVER want to deal with those kinds of temps again!!! It's one of the reasons I moved about as far south as I can go and still be in the US!

Congrats again on the accolades! I think you deserve it.
