Thank Y`all for your kind thoughts and support. You guys are the greatest! 
One more thing: ........ And I mention this only in an optimistic manner. I am currently getting chemo and Proton therapy for cancer of my right salivary gland. Mostly, the therapy has gone well except for the side effect of surface skin burn from the Proton radiation. I was supposed to complete the Proton treatment yesterday, but when the skin blisters appeared earlier in the week and got worse, the treatment was stopped to allow healing. I will see the doc about what to do next on Tuesday when hopefully the healing will be enough to make an informed observation. I will received my final chemo treatments on the 12th, 13th and 14th. Then I will have to wait about a month and a half for my body to return to normal, when a final PET scan will determine if I indeed am cured.... I`m optimistic though, and will accept any prayers sent my way...
