Guess we got lucky here because the Easyriders show in Portland was great! We went the last two years and both had tons of bikes, many vendors, and the Perrrrrrrfect Angels! Billy Lane, Paul Yaffe, and other bigtime builders were there. The Hawaii thme Indian Larry bike was there. They had a couple Rick Fairless' bikes. The food was really good too! They are already using two HUGE rooms in the convention center and hopefully this next year they will open up to three.

 

Always got the impression that a lot of the vendors that attend these shows, put up everything they have to buy their merchandise hoping to sell at a high markup. I think weather plays a big part of their profits. I went to Laconia last June and it rained the whole time. Those vendors were doing their best but, their tents were flooded and merchandise was getting wet. I am really curious as to how they did. I assume the cost of the tent site come with a high ticket price too. There still seemed to be a lot of people around, shopping, but I have a feeling a lot of the unpurchased stuff would be difficult to dry out. A lot of money to put out, and a big gamble.

 

I thought it was the bigger the boobies the more they should show???

Then again I'm easily confused.

 

Well it seems that I made the right decision when I didnt go.

Tell me about Reno! We had such a great time in Las Vegas we were about to ride from there to Reno and take in both shows. At the last minute one of the group got called and we all went home instead. We went to Reno a few years ago and had a great time.
