Zymol Cleaner Wax. Bike looks as good or better as others using much more expensive stuff.

I'm unfortunately stuck using harleys denim cleaner.
True, denim paint needs denim paint cleaner . I use the HD denim paint product and it works just fine , cleans up water and gas stains leaves nice finish. There are a lot of denim cleaners on market these days why say unfortunately your stuck using the HD product?

I have a load of good waxes, polishes, etc, but I’m going to try a ceramic coating for my new Ultra Ltd. It’s Avalon King. I already bought it and I keep the in floor heat at 60 degrees in my garage. I just have to get in the mood for gettin’ ‘er done! I’m halfway scared to try it. I can’t find anyone who’s tried it.

I just ride out on the salty roads, then lay the bike down on its side in the driveway when I get home (like kids do with their bicycles). This prevents me from ever bothering to spend time or money making the bike look nice.

We all in agreement that a coat of wax keeps the bike easy to detail, it keeps the "bugs" from sticking...I use Mothers California gold caranuba wax...

I like the idea of riding rather than waxing a lot. However, I don't like having to scrub off the bugs also, so have been using various products like Bug Slide, Uber waterless wash concentrate and other detailers from the Autostore to do the "keep it clean" wipe downs before or after rides and in between the once or twice a year complete wash and detail job. After every few wipdowns I have been using Meguiar's Quick Wax (spray) to help keep the bugs and dirt from sticking and put a shine on the bike. Seems to be OK, but always looking for something that may do a better job. Gonna give the Lucas Spray Mist a try.

Gotta say one thing, a light silver bike like my Big Sister, does not show the dirt, but it doesn't gleam in the sun much either. It is hard to tell whether it has be waxed or not.
