My bride hit my best helmet, with me in it, with a frying pan one time. Does that mean its shot?

Just shoot the helmet with Febreze, and put the helmet on Craigslist, and sell it to a person that you don't give a rats rectum if they live or die or not.
I myself could never do that, because that person could be a little child's mom or dad, or sun or daughter.

If bottles are returnable for deposit in your state maybe collect enough so you can get a new one, or at least used that doesn’t have mold in it. Or carry on

Check out some microscopic images of mold on the web. Then read about it. That’s all.

Don't do it. Sixty years ago my older sister took me to my first movie. Green men from outer space. The ones with three skinny fingers that had needles in them and they squirted ethanol in people. I been wearing tin foil under my helmet ever sense and only drink Don Julio Añejo tequila.

Which one , Joe?
Mold's kinda like mushrooms ...a thousand different varieties, but only a few are poisonous to humans.
Fortunately, it's rare a structure grows one of the poisonous types.
Not saying that common household mold can't cause problems , but for the most part it's nothing to be freaked out about for healthy folks...or people in the tropics would be dropping like flies

Microscopic mold spores are kinda boring though
check out dust mite pics...they're way cooler
most all of us sleep with them every night too
