engine upgrade
I am looking to buy a pair of 1200 cylinders for my Sportster 883, they are advertised as, 99-06 Harley Softail Twin Cam 88 B Engine Cylinder Jug & Piston16775-88B
my sportster was first reg on the 03 March 1999, so will they fit, is mine a twin cam 88B engine, Thanks

Those cylinders are for big twins, not Sportster. Won't fit.

A big twin from '99 was 1340cc, so I don't see how that ad makes any sense. Unless you want to make it a smaller motor.

I meant "you" in a general sense. I realize what you have in mind, it's just that someone is advertising 1200 parts for a motor that is already 1340.
I had an 883 in 1987, really wished I had the means to convert it to a 1200. Good luck in your search.

1340cc is for the 80" EVO.
OP is looking at 88" Twinkie which is 1450cc.
OP needs to look ONLY at 1200CC sporty engine parts.
