Never used that type of brake lock, have a Xena that I rarely rarely use, with no ribbon lol. That's quite the story on parking in NY, hope you win.

Use Xena disc lock when we travel. That lock is touchy and loud and will get somebodies attention or wake up a motel guest. It's the first I take off prior to packing the bike.

I have the same. It is heavy but a quality piece. Always put new batteries in it.

Yeah both tow fee and citation got thrown out, just waiting for comptroller's department to get back in regards to grinder damage and lock replacement
