Why don't folks wave to Harley's ?

Thats those european canadians, not that friendly. Western CA up through Yukon crotch rockets and harleys wave to each other.

If you like getting waved at, get a Ural with a sidecar. I even have guys snowblowing their driveways wave at me. Even BMW riders wave, but probably regret it when they go by and see it's not a BMW, just one of those damned Russian copies of an old airhead...

Someone mentioned waving at scooters; I think it's fun to wave at young people on scooters when I'm on a Harley, haven't had one wave back yet, they all looked scared.

Because for the last 50 years the HD riders have looked down on them as not worthy of acknowledgement

Try waving at a HD rider while riding a rice rocket, full faced helmet and reflective armored jacket.... They don't respond.

So when I am riding my Concours14 and wave I am sub human, when I have either one of the baggers out for a ride I am a member of the club.

Keep waving, maybe you can start the healing process

This is why. Hell, even HD riders don't wave to one another ... try waiving to a bagger from a Slim. Bagger acts like he's doing you a favor. I'd rather waive at ricers.

Funny, I was in my truck, which has a HD sticker in the back window. I had 2 HD's behind me, when I turned into my driveway, both the HD's honked and waved.

I never wave at baggers. They are a bunch of grumpy old people.
