slow or faulty synapses

 

I have to imagine there are some HD owners who are misinformed and believe their bike is an American made bike. When these folks see metric bikes made by foreigners and such, they may think they are being patriotic by snubbing them.

 

I am sure that Mike in N.B. Canada appreciates your input on the query he had because it obviously has a lot of validity in his locale and explains much. :~)

 

my buddy gave me **** once for waving at everyone on 2 wheels. the next day we were riding through glacier park and his hands were cold, he asked me if I had a pair of warm gloves he could borrow. I told him yes, but one condition...he had to wave at everyone we met on two wheels, even if it was a scooter. the first thing we met was a polaris slingshot and so he does the Forrest Gump wave. I almost fell off my bike I was laughing so hard. he kept it up all the way to Jasper.

 

I always acknowledged any bike.

 

A little surprised, but got waves from two non-Harleys on a short ride today (and reciprocated).

In my other life, I drive a Porsche. Way back, waving to other Porsches was a thing, but in more recent years, almost never, and I generally don't anymore. Sometimes I'll do a thumbs up, more to compliment a specific car than to "wave". I do like those on two wheels acknowledging each other.

 

Always had vehicles that you acknowledged the other driver on. Motorcycles, CJ Jeeps, Corvette and British Sportscars!!!
