Default Loud Horn

Did a search but ??

Looking for a simple electric horn that will fit under the stock cowbell that will actually be effective (not a big bulky electric compressor air horn) . Saw some from custom dynamics and arlen ness but kind of not wanting to spend $200 plus for a horn.

Had a K1100 LT with a very loud dual tone and a GL1800 with a great horn. Maybe get a BMW or Honda horn? Go to the junk yard and get one off an old car?

Harley has the direct replacement loud horn. I had to replace my horn due to water logged from my trip to Rolling Thunder. It has done the job so far....no extra relays to deal with just plug and play....You should be able to locate it through the HD parts website and it will even tell you if your dealer has it in stock.

I use FIAMM Blasters on my bike, my truck, my car - you get the picture. Loud, cheap, and available everywhere. $25 at Canadian Tire.

I could use a louder horn on the Sportster, and a bigger horn button.

Thank you all. As Bone Doc said there a ton of threads on this subject. I guess I didn't use search properly.

I will try Fiamm blasters and give that a shot. When I had a K1100 BMW I just about dropped the bike the first time I hit the horn button, hope the Fiamm's will be as "effective"?

I use the High note FIAMM on the bike. I double up the low and high on vehicles. You'll see when you go to pick one up
