Could put in some butt development. I know the enviros are always saying that housing development is drying up the swamplands, so maybe that works for butts too.
Yeah, but who want a housing deveopment in the backside?

All of the above is true. More riding=less monkey butt/swamp ****.

Other things to try...

Bicycle shorts or underarmor type shorts. Prevent it before it happens. DO NOT wear these type of shorts until it heals up.

Gold Bond powder. It comes in two strengths, use the max strength until it clears up, then the regular strength to prevent it from coming back.

1% cortisone cream with aloe will help with the itching, so will Benadryl. The number one thing is to keep it clean and dry as possible.

I know what I'm talking about here...I work outside in south Georgia, and I have to wear long pants (uniform)...heat rash/monkey butt/swamp **** is a regular event around here. Fighting it off now.

Try one of these. It works very well with the flow thru ventilation believe it or not, I was very skeptical until I got one and it does work exactly as promised. It may not be the final solution but it sure helps.

Sheepskin fleece. Got over 40K miles on this one. Roll it up and stuff it in a pillowcase and you got a pillow for the night.

Go to WalMart and get some Triple Antibiotic cream about 3 bucks. I also use the kind of underwear that wicks the sweat away from your body. Haven't had a problem for at least 4 years.

Try putting on some antiperspirant. The kind for underarms and stuff. If it stops it there, your butt should be no problem.
