I just put drag bars on my 07 Softail Standard using the stock risers (41/2 in, I think) and as you can imagine it is VERY uncomfortable to ride for very long. I've found 61/2 and 91/2 in pullback risers but I'm unsure which to purchase. I want it to be comfortable but not so tall it takes away from the looks. Any advice?

I had the 6 1/2 inch on my Sportster, and they were not bad. Do your bars have a pull back on them or are they just the straight ones? Also, if you go with 9 1/2 you may need to change the clutch and throttle cables, and front brake lines.

I am in the middle of changing out to a t bar , it has 9 1/2 in inch rise and 7 1/2 inch pull ( also 1 1/2 inch diameter
) I found this to be nice and comfy but I'm on a WG.
I sat on Strange1 's night train and it felt pretty dang nice too. He was runniing 12 inches of pull and 10 inch risers.
I would start from where you are , you know what you don't like so move your hands to where you think you would like and measure. then just go shopping for bars and risers ( or T bars ) that fall into that measurement. you probably can get away with not swapping cables for now by re-routing them.( apes would be another story)
