I like my Road King best. Two up day trips, around town pretty much anything for less than 8 hr. day trips.
Week to 14 days of travel, two up, the Road Glide is the only way to go. Passing Semis is a breeze and my wife says there is way less turbulence than the Bat Wings we have tested. We're at 30,000 miles with both us on it.
Styling is a personal thing. I like the style of the Road Glide Fairing.

When I need to finally buy a caravan, it will be a Road Glide. Much better to have all that weight on the frame rather than the forks.

And I have grown to prefer the look over the last few years.

Would you consider 25,000 average a year "low mileage"?

On the 5th RG or RGU and have never looked back to the SG. yes 25,000 a year is low mileage but there are many with much less.

Yamaha builds a heck of a motor. Price on the 2018s are as low as 16000.00 new right now. I can't get over the look of the Eluder. Has a front end like a mini Dodge Challenger.
