Prolly getting rid of 'em 'cause millenials are to wimpy & weak to handle 'em. They need Burgmans.

While I'm not saying they are not potentially true, rumors of this sort have been circulating for decades. My suggestion is just wait and see what happens.

You are close, the mother company dropped the twin cam to meet EUROPEAN standards on the M8 so their bikes can be sold overseas. An example, Most sedans being built today now have the small turbo powered 4 cylinders or a normally aspirated 4 cyl. (2.5L) gas with direct injection to meet Euro standards. So you were close with the emissions regs. but Euro is driving the bus on this one.
