Would You Buy A Rocker?

RE: Would You Buy A Rocker?
Ok, even being new to the Harley community I can feel a split from everyone on the appeal of this bike. I have to say that I like the look. It does remind me of the custom bike world a little and maybe that is where HD is trying toattract potential sales. I think it is a step into a different direction for Harley and at some point when the v-rod was introduced, people felt it was a mistake, now look at the responses and following. Overall I like the look but won't go out and buy one (I also think its quite pricey). I do have to say that I like the stow-away passenger seat, not necessarily every aspect of how it looks, but the concept is great. I would love soemthing like it for my nightster that way my girlfriend could ride along, but I could also enjoy riding solo without having a seat covering the chopped fender.

Aside from the seat I like it. The lowseat height, huge back tire, long stretched look will appeal to many. I haven't seen it yet but Ithink folks will be surprised and like it when they see it in person.

I would have one if I could afford to have a play bike and a road bike. When we travel, we oftentimes camp. As a result, I haul a lot of crap that wouldn't fit on a rocker.

I like it and I think it will cut into a little of the custom market but I'm not parting with my Street Bob and if I had a second bike it would have to be a Street Glide or Road King. I'd take a free one though!
