She wouldn't have to worry about that if she had her own bike.

Can't say it won't happen, but............
There was one about three years ago on the Run For The Wall ride from California to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Guy had his wife on the back of the bike and just rode off the highway. IIRC she didn't make it.

Not sure but it’s not going to be pretty?
has any of you had this talk with your wives?
My wife had a talk with me about what if something happened to me while I was by myself on a LD ride far from home, but that something was a incompetent cager, not a Heart attack. She's never been worried about a heart attack period, riding or not, although I suppose it could happen. Never had any heart trouble in the past. What if you and her are riding and a cager suddenly pulls out in front of you at an interesection, or hits you head on or from behind? Even the house got hit I think. There are a lot of things that can happen while you're on a motorcycle that no matter how skillful you are can kill you or her. Heck, it doesn't even have to be a mc. We had a guy here yesterday that was mowing the grass in his front yard and some drugged up idiot went off the road and he got hit.

It's a good thing my wife's got her own bike.
