Badass half helmet about 90% of the time. Bell Custom 500 when I have to ride in bad weather.

I've been caught in the rain with the half on so many times that unless there is hail I’m good to go.

 

Thanks to some of the comments in this thread, I stopped by the Harley dealer and picked up a modular today. I'll probably switch between it and my 3/4.

 

Just recently switched from a half to the Shoei Neotech II modular helmet. It's comfortable and I feel much safer in it. I went down 5 years ago, was wearing a half helmet. 5 broken ribs, a punctured lung, injured shoulder, and a badly scraped up helmet later I recovered and am still riding. I can't imagine what my head would have been like without the helmet.

 

Used a Bell Rogue for several years, switched to a DOT beanie from SkootDog. The rogue was a pain, never could get the muzzle to fit right even with the longer magnetic tabs, also it lifted a LOT when riding without a windshield, but it looked super cool. I'm happy with my beanie. Much less hassle.

 

i think i am leaning more towards the j-cruise. i know it is fairly new but has anyone tried the new Arai Ram-X? it is the newest and most advanced 3/4 on the market but i don't know if i can justify the $600 price tag.

 

I wear a half and a 3/4 most of the time. I have a full face that I won in a contest but don't wear it very often.

 

I wear a GMax OF77 3/4. I have to snap in chin piece to convert it to a full face.

 

Always have worn full face helmets - except my first time on a motorcycle ..... when I crashed into a barbed wire fence.
