I wear a full face Arai Signet. I believe I'm safer in a full face helmet, and an added bonus is I don't look like Capt Crunch going down the road.

I picked up an ECE Gringo and I love it so far. I use it with riding glasses and no shield but still get the chin protection. Other than that I have a modular and Dayton 3/4 but I wear the Gringo most of the time.

The noise level is OK but the truth is I don't have a lot of experience with other helmets to compare it to. I suspect that the more expensive helmets are quieter, in the "you get what you pay for" category, but for a sub $400 helmet you can't go wrong with the HJC. I can hear music from my Cardo just fine regardless of the visor position and if I close the visor I can carry on a phone conversation at 70mph without any problems. The helmet has good ventilation and it never feels hot to me despite the 90+ deg summer weather we have here in Florida.

I wear a modular helmet cuz I prefer to ride without a windshield...it keeps bugs and any road debris from hittin' my pretty face and it also helps to protect my face from skin cancer too.

I used to wear a 3/4 helmet, but switched to FF. I wear a Shoei RF-1200. I got the transitions face visor, and for me, it is a great setup. YMMV.

Full face every time i ride. I got face-planted in a crash about 15 years ago. If my helmet didn't have a chin bar i'd be dead. I have a Simpson Ghost Bandit for summer riding and a Shark Spartan Carbon for winter and touring.

Have two half, two 3/4 and two full face. So it depends on my mood, distance, and weather as to which one I use.

So I just want to start off by saying I really appreciate everyone staying on topic and this not getting out of hand as to which one is better, just which one you use.

So so today I was able to pop a bunch onto my head and learned: I am not interested in HJC anymore their fit has changed over the years and it is not comfortable for me. I don’t think a traditional full face is for me even though the defiant-x (once you lube up and squeeze it on, it has an extremely tight neck roll) was impressively comfortable for a full face helmet. I cannot find anywhere to try on the new Arai Ram-x so right now my two contenders are Shoei j-cruise or the Neotec 2. The neotec 2 was almost like wearing a pillow on my head. I believe it should be at $700

Multiple here.

I wear a Bell Pit Boss 1/2 helmet about 75% of the time.

I sold a Harley modular last winter and replaced it with a Shoei J-Cruise 3/4 which I love.

I just cannot go with a true full face, but I hope to add a Shoei Neotec II modular before winter.
