Cordura vs Leather

RE: Cordura vs Leather
Just got this jacket at a great price, very pleased. It is very comfortable and cool. Not bad looking either. http://www.motorcyclecloseouts.com/d..._ID=SV431-8002

Hung up my leathers and only ride with my cordura coat and pants now. Supposedly you'll slide better in a skid and you'll have the armor backup. They are cheaper than quality leatherjackets and lighter, and as good at blocking the wind and keeping you warm. And the waterproof ones will probably replace your rain jacket in your bags.

Those are some good suggestions. Will take all in to advice prior to going for it.
Right now I am wearing my NOMEX CVCU Jacket that I "aquired" while on active duty. It is comfortable and does a pretty good job with the wind, but not sure how the Nomex will react to slidding on the pavement. I don't think the Army had that in mind when they went with that jacket.
Perfect choice if my bike catches on fire. I don't think I have to worry about that though.
But thanks again, and "See you on the High ground"
