I have a 2018 Road Glide Special and just installed the Stage 3 kit on my bike, my question.. is it worth spending a little extra for the new Extreme air filter that flows 42% more air then traditional heavy breathers, I must say that this would look pretty bad *** on my bike.

 

Looks like a Shop Vac filter to me.

 

I have the Evo (carbed) version of that. I like it. Get a rain sock though.
That one looks like it's angled out at 45 degrees...that would be a PITA for leg room. Get one 90 degrees.

 

It's not angled out, just looks that way in that pick, it is 90 degrees. I just put one on my FLFBS two days ago. I've only done stage one, but this is anticipating eventually doing more, and it can't hurt to have maximum air filtered flow.

And yes, stage 3 and 4 is exactly what it was intended for.

 

They say it’s waterproof and rain sock is not recommended, but I’ll definitely look into one.
