No 18 is too small. Better use 20, 21, whatever it takes.

Sounds like it had power until you changed battery sounds like you left a wire off the battery that should go to a breaker or to the ignition switch

Come on don't beat on him, this just human nature to try and take the short path when you don't know. He'll come around or we'll never hear from him again.

We may already be there. I hope not; I sincerely would like to see that sporty purring like a kitten. And I'm 100% jealous of the find!

When I was an auto mechanic, I used to always say, 'I'd have to look at it" . meaning when talk diagnosing, it could be a million different things. One thing we know for sure is, its an electrical problem

I'm no mechanic and this might be a stupid question, but I'll ask it anyway, by jiggety!



Could he put the bike in neutral and temporarily run a 12-volt power source directly to the starter and see what happens?
