Stop with the poor me BS. All you really wanted was to get the bike running so you could post it up for sale as a runner.

I'm not educated in working on bikes, but I read this entire thread to maybe pick up a pointer here and there. Man this was painful.

Sounds like you did ok so far, just keep at it!
Soon as I saw the picture of him on it I knew where this was going, if that guy had walked into my shop I'd have turned him around out the door within 10 minutes of starting the conversation. They have a look there's no mistaking you just know is going to be trouble.
