If the bike sat for 1.5 years without a stabilizer in the fuel I would get the old fuel and whatever you put in out of the tank. Add some Seafoam or Techron in the new fuel to clean out the fuel system. Remove seat look at all the wiring and connections for animal invasion. Clean your battery and ground connections real good, also spray contact cleaner on your connections (pins and sockets), in short spend an afternoon on it to get it back in shape.

So I have a 2016 iron 883 that only has about 2000 miles on it. It sat in a garage for about 1.5 years on and off the charger started occasionally. Had to use it when my car broke down charged it up started just fine rode home from my parents garage. The next day I decided to go run it, started just fine drove to the gas station filled it up. lp!
It ran fine to the gas station. Does gas layer as it goes bad? Is the gas 1.5 years old?
I would look at loose wires and fraying. Rodent damage. Maybe low votlage causing funny stuff.

Pretty sure it's the map sensor
They only code that wont clear is p0107 and I'm hoping that being bad triggers all the other sensors to malfunction, and run in almost a limp mode. But I cant get to the map sensor its held in place by a weird little bracket that attaches the throttle cables to the throttle body.
So it get the sensor is not that expensive and i would just replace it bit im having a tough time gettin to it its only held in place by this plate that holds the throttle cables in place but i cant get to one last screw

...if you're severely limiting the air by doing that and it runs better, I'd guess the MAP sensor has gone to a default LEAN condition. It's telling the computer to send minimal fuel mixture(lean) and when you cut off the air it runs better. Had two Ford Rangers that this happened to(would idle, but when you'd put the truck in gear it'd die). Both times it was the MAP(manifold air pressure)sensor. Both were replaced & ran perfect.
