It makes perfect sense that someone riding in safety gear like he is wearing would mount the whip to the brake lever.

Pretty much why I sarcastically posted that photo, the rider epitomizes the badass image he wishes to convey with that silly string.
Thread hijack alert: Does that rider stereotypically explain why millennials shun the Harley brand?

Extra movement of any kind in a cagers peripheral vision...I'm not saying it's a major safety feature or the sole reason for getting, but I think it would add an element of awareness of a bikes presence.

Maybe we're looking at this all wrong. Bikers in pirate leather. Women in black leather. Whips. Hmmmmmmmm.......

It is then only logical that the subject rider would use the thing to beat his wife. Its just science.

I went and bought one of those whips a few years ago and ran it for a while just to see if any of you heros would ever say anything to me in person about it.
All I ever got was "Oh that thing's cool bro" and some of the other moronic platitudes that spew from the mouths of idiots.
The one thing that all of you guys have in common is the ability to talk some mean **** on the computer and the complete lack of ***** to ever say anything in person.

It hangs in my shop now because the point was proven after a year of having it hang on my handlebars.

I have one to let y'all know that I'm an extra badass biker and that you should leave the best parking spot for me.

If you're in my space, move.

They're called Get-Back Whips because if you call them Douche-Nozzles, nobody knows what that is.
