If someone ever tried to use one of those on me, I'd be laughing so hard I'd not be able to defend myself.

My wife was intrigued by the get back whips a few years ago. She thought they were cool and bought one for our bike. I put it on the right, brake lever side and it looked good. We hit the highway and this thing would fly up and smack her on the right leg, drop down a little bit and rise and smack her again. Needless to say I was laughing like crazy! She did not find the humor and ours now hangs on the man cave wall where it looks cool and tells people not to mess with me!!! LOL

Ever had someone connect with a padlock on the end of a couple feet of rope? Just curious.

ETA: Hey, I'm not saying these things a the in things but, I'm not sure folks understand completely what they are.

It's a nostalgia thing. And no longer considered a weapon.
Back in the day people were easily intimidated by, well pretty much by everything.
The get back whip is no different than putting a Gremlin bell, sporting a beard, tattoos or long hair.
Look in the mirror, I bet someone in the world things you're ugly.
Ride your own ride and don't worry about what others do.

Wait until someone pulls up next to him and gives than thing a yank ! He has it on his front brake ! Looks like a good way to kill yourself to me. I wouldn't ride a bike with any crap like that hanging off of my bike.

They're not for me....so I don't have one on either of my scoots....

I know a few guys that do. Their ride, they can do what they want. I promise you though, the few cats that I know that have em, you might snicker at em, but it would be behind their backs, like you snicker at everyone else...safer that way ya know....

You owe me 1min and 37secs of my life back. Cause that's about as much as I could take. Wtf. I need to go back to How to be a badass school. Jesus I must of missed that day.....and jmo you are not very bright putting anything on the brake lever. Cause all you have to do is yank that thing and someone is doing a endo.

I was a correction officer for 26 years. Even a bar of soap in a sock will do a nice job. But more often we saw combination locks in socks.
As far as the original topic, nope. I don't need **** like that hanging off a bike. There's enough distractions out there as it is.
