Handlebar rope thing

Love the shorts, flip/flops, and the fact that the whip is mounted on the wrong side so as to be totally non-functional.
They are illegal (unless they are mounted such as to be unable to quickly detach them) in CA because they can be used effectively to educate drivers who believe lane splitting encroaches on their personal space.
Now you have the "image" guys who mount them permanently which makes them legal but, puts a big "please stop me" sign on their back. But, hey, they look like a badass.

I saw a guy a few weeks ago with a whip hanging from each end of the handlbars. They were so long they dragged the ground when he came to a stop.
When I pulled up beside him at a red light I expected to see some badass biker type but the guy was a geazer wearing Buddy Holly glasses. All I could think was, "what a dufus..that yellow neon safety vest absolutely doesn't go with the dual whips!"

Being Canadian, I'm somewhat amused at the notion that someone living in a country where citizens can be armed would actually slap away at a stranger's car with a piece of goddamn rope. I sure as hell wouldn't go down there and pull that stunt. Its just a bit too Darwinian for my taste.
