Road King 18 need new pipes

Anyone know about HD warranty if dealership installs new pipes. Guy at parts counter stated it’s a gray area with the new bikes and HD might not warranty the motor if we change pipes. Says no issue with warranty with slip on’s. Sound is poor with current pipes

I had the V&H Twin Slash Rounds installed on my '18 Tri-Glide by the dealership.
I did NOT eliminate the head pipes and converter.
These slip-on's have a little more rumble than the OEM's and I'm hoping they will get a little better with time and mileage but with the M8's the sound may not compete with previous H-D powerplants.
IF, I should have an engine warranty claim be denied due to this minor mod I'll cross that bridge when I get to it!
BTW, be advised that the slip-ons for the M8 powerplant (with the exception for Tri-Glides) have different size inlets than the previous T/C's.
