Default Used Key Fob on eBay

My used 2015 Road King only came with one key fob when I bought it. My question is does it matter if I buy a used or new key fob? Will the dealer be able to program a used key fob to my security system? The used ones are about $20 cheaper than new.

$20 here, $20 there, it all adds up the way I see it. On this one, roll the dice.

Use some of your cleaning products under the sink to wash your K&N filter then use the $20 you saved to buy a new key fob

That's one thing I always hated about dealers. When someone is trading in, or selling outright, the dealership demands both keys, and will reduce their offer if both keys aren't produced. Then they toss one of the keys in the trash after that deal is done. Along comes another customer that may want the bike the dealership has to sell. There's only 1 key, and the dealer is more than happy to sell a new key to the unsuspecting customer...

This crap goes on everyday.
